Can astronauts eat pizza in space?
In 2001, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Usachov received a six-inch Pizza Hut pizza that he wolfed down onboard the ISS, becoming the first astronaut to eat a slice in space.
What is not allowed in space?
Common items like salt and bread are banned from the International Space Station due to fears that they’ll send floating pieces everywhere and potentially damage space equipment or accidentally get inhaled by astronauts. Basic eating, sleeping, and showering habits must also be modified.
How do astronauts poop and pee in space?
The bathroom is full of handholds and footholds so that astronauts don’t drift off in the middle of their business. To pee, they can sit or stand and then hold the funnel and hose tightly against their skin so that nothing leaks out. To poop, astronauts lift the toilet lid and sit on the seat — just like here on Earth.

What powdered drinks can you drink on the ISS?
Per Space.com, one of the powdered drinks you won’t find on the ISS is Tang. Astronauts used to drink it, which spawned the widespread misconception that NASA invented the stuff, but the agency only bought it as a convenient beverage.
Why don’t astronauts eat beans in space?
It probably goes without saying that astronauts exploring the final frontier shouldn’t eat beans because space smells on its own without humans adding their two scents, which would smell like a deuce and make the offending astronaut look like a deuce-bag.
