Can I join Diploma after ITI?
Yes you can do a diploma in the relevant branch after completing ITI . You will get direct lateral admission into 2nd year diploma course after that you have to study 2 more years.
Can we do UPSC after ITI?
Sorry, you are not eligible because you are not graduate. UPSC Civil Services exam is one of the most prestigious exam conducted every year. A Graduate degree in any discipline / equivalent from a UGC/AICTE recognised University. Final year appearing candidates can apply provisionally.
Is ITI equivalent to graduation?
Both the courses are good in their field in graduation you will get the 3 years degree, and in ITI you only get the Diploma because ITI is a Diploma course and graduation is a degree course and degree have more value then the Diploma you can also do Diploma course side by side with your graduation.

Tech after ITI – Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or the Industrial Centers aim to provide short training courses to students whereas Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) is a four-year technical undergraduate course. These institutes provide vocational training programmes to students after passing their class 10th.
Can diploma student give GATE exam?
For giving GATE, candidates must have passed or are in their final year of graduation in engineering/technology or Master’s degree in any relevant science subject. So you cannot give GATE with just diploma.
Is ITI an engineer?
Yes in most of departments an ITI DIPLOMA holder get promoted as junior engineer after so much practical experience as lineman and other technical cadres post.
Can I take direct admission in BTech after ITI?
No You Can’t Take Direct Admission BTech after ITI . But Nothing is Impossible . There is a Proper path to reach BTech . Firt after your ITI you are eligible to Have a lateral Entry in Diploma of engineering Program ( 3 Years ) , but due to lateral entry you will do it in 2 years . As you want BTech in CS , Choose CS in Diploma Program also .

Yes, you can join in the 2nd year of the diploma course after completing ITI through lateral entry. The aspirant has to apply to the polytechnic college for a lateral entry admission. The marks scored in 10th and ITI is considered for the admission.
Can I get admission in Polytechnic as an ITI holder?
Yes, ITI holders are eligible for lateral entry admission in diploma engineering course which will make the course to 2 years duration. Admission will be based on the performance in entrance exam and seats will be allotted through counseling. Hence, just apply for polytechnic entrance exam as a ITI diploma holder.
