Gil-Galad and Elendil (Isuldur’s father) killed Sauron’s body with sword and spear and probably hand- to- hand combat. Isuldur was toiling nearby, trying to reach his father to help as was Elrond. It took the combined forces of the best Man and the best Elf to kill the horror called Sauron.
Why did Elrond let isildur walk away?
