What is the difference between HCV and Irodov?

So HCV can be solved easily with some interest and careful attempts, while for Irodov you may have to think of very hard to perceive situations based on the information in the text. However even this can be nurtured with regular practice and hardwork. Is H.C. Verma enough for the JEE or do I need to solve problems from Cengage or Irodov?

Is Irodov useful for JEE Mains?

Very few questions in Irodov are useful for JEE. Do only selected problems which seem relevant to the syllabus, even those are pretty much above JEE level. Some questions in JEE test the patience of the students. Irodov could be useful for those. Again, if you feel you are off somewhere, pack the bags and get back to HC Verma.

How do I prepare for the Irodov exam?

You need to have much practise in that case. Practise from DC Pandey which will be sufficient if you take regular practise of these questions. If you want then you can go for IE IRODOV for slightly challenging questions. Another combination that you can solve is CENGAGE AND IRODOV.

What is the best part of HCV?

The best part of HCV is that the qs are divided sectiin wise and difficulty os incresed with every section. It provides a good basic clearence theme for a student. I was not that good in Physics but when i studied from my notes and then solved qs from HCV it got really easy for me to understand physics.

Do I need to do physics NCERT After solving HCV and coaching?

No,need to do physics NCERT after solving HCV and coaching sheets for JEE advance instead of that you can read the Modern Physics theory from it and practice questions from IRODOV book or past year question and revise the concepts which will be more helpful rather than just doing NCERT.
