Can inmates see your email on JPay?

With very few exceptions, inmates read and reply to your Emails via the JPay inmate kiosks conveniently located inside their living units. Why is my inmate receiving the photo I’ve attached too small/large? We deliver the content to the inmate exactly as it was provided to us.

Yes. All electronic messages are subject to monitoring. Electronic messages may not jeopardize the public or the safety, security, or orderly operation of the correctional facility. All messages are screened for words or phrases which may represent a risk to the security of the facility or the safety of the public.

Do inmates know who sent money to them?

My own experience is that no, inmates may not know who sent them money or even if money has been sent. They get a quarterly balance sheet with deposits and withdrawals but as far as being notified when and by who, no they don’t usually get notified.

How long does it take for an inmate to receive money?

Inmates get a receipt when money is deposited into their accounts. Depending on the method you used to deposit rhe funds, they can get it anywhere from 24 hours to 3 weeks.
