What is illilp in TCS?
ILP (Initial Learning Program) is a program to train the newly joined freshers for TCS. One will be mapped to a specific technology by TCS and you will given training in that stream. The streams may be java, bipm, .net, c++/unix etc.
How long does it take to complete ILP in TCS?
Each week they have to face some test in which one have to pass in-order finish your training within 60 days.:) Those who excel throughout got good rating and certificate at the end of ILP. ILP stand for initial learning program, It is a 3 month training program given to fresh graduates after they join TCS.
Which is the best ILP centre in TCS?
The main ILP centre is TCS Trivandrum , which is also the coolest centre among all, because from there you can plan many trips,like during my ILP ,I visited munnar,alleppey,kodaikanal,rameshwaram, During ILP you will learn different softwares , programming languages and other things related to your stream.
Is ILP a good stream if I am bad at coding?
Do not worry even if you are bad at coding.They will train you well in ILP. It has more projects in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata (Less projects in Delhi comparatively to other location). This stream is good for both CS and Non CS students as they involve Unix basics, oracle database, Data structures, C++ and UML.
What is the duration of an ILP batch?
The first batch of a new academic year to come ILP is on 1st week of June. Duration of ILP is 3 months. ILP batches run in every months. However for students of new academic year, ILP batches start from May (probably last week onward).
How do I get a letter of joining from TCS?
> Visit TCS Next Step. > Then go to the ILP corner. > Select Joining letter. > Then at last Accept It. Note: If you forget to accept the letter you will not be allowed for joining as TCS will consider that you are not interested in the job, the same happens in the case of Offer letter).
Should I join TCS with ILP certificate?
Still to be on safe side it’s better if you get Java or any other programming language. If you have any authentic certificate in any of the related technologies, which are offered by ILP, you can have high chance of getting that technology stream compared to others. How do I use the TCS ILP video chat feature?
These are like video conferencing where some of the TCS ILP centers will join and one faculty from any of the ILP centers will teach you on a topic. You will have a mic in front of you. In case you want to ask any question, you just have to press a button. By doing so, your mic will be ‘ON’ and camera will catch you.

Trivandrum – Thiruvananthpuram During this training period, you will be trained in technical and business skills aspects. Time period of training is 40 working days for On-campus placed people and 60 working days for Off-campus placed people.
