Does 25V require a security clearance?
There are not a qualifications needed to become MOS 25V. You do need to demonstrate normal color vision. Additionally, the Army will check your depth perception using normal binocular vision for fine close work. There is no special security clearance required for an Army Combat Documentation/Production Specialist.
Can soldiers carry personal weapons?
Your personal weapons are not allowed in deployment and rarely while training*. In the US and almost all well disciplined forces you do not use captured weapons for the following reasons: Supply. Ammunition is distributed among units regularly.
