Hello, The admission to B. Tech 2018 at Sastra University is being done on the basis of two streams in which stream 1 is based on JEE Main 2018 score and qualifying exam scores for 70\% seats and stream 2 is based on the qualifying exam for 30\% seats.
How do I get a seat at SASTRA University?
It may be noted that almost 70\% seat allotment shall take place on the basis of candidate’s JEE Main score according to the SASTRA University eligibility for B. Tech and the remaining 30\% will be made based on the normalized scores of 10+2 or equivalent examination.

You cant get a seat in Mechanical Engineering at SASTRA solely on your IPE score. Stream 2 students are given 30\% seats from every department. If you consider 200 seats for every department (Assumption , I dont know the exact seats too) , 60 seats are given for stream 2 students.
