What is right before God?
For the “ Christian” to be justified, we must be able to stand before God and he consider us righteous in every word and deed and thought and attitude of the heart. This happens in two ways (inseparable from each other): forensic justification and imputed righteousness through union with Christ.
How do we put right with God?
Pray, asking God to forgive your sins and give you a new heart with new desires from now on. Act on that prayer by getting baptized in water(Acts 2:38)(Acts 18:8)(Acts 22:16). God’s purpose for making us is so that He can demonstrate his mercy, grace, and loving kindness.

God expects us to accept His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as our Savior. He expects us to give our lives to Him, and in so doing, develop the character of Christ. God does not expect you to be famous, rich, popular or beautiful. God expects you to trust Him, Love Him and pattern yourself after His Son, Jesus Christ.
What is your standing with God?

It means not being afraid of those different from me and being willing to show the love of Jesus to those in need. It means letting go of the critical spirit that so easily besets those of the Christian faith and reaching out to the world in need. It wasn’t hard to stand up for Jesus in that environment.
