What happens after passing out from Indian Naval Academy?
The Reviewing Officer and other dignitaries shipped the stripes of passing out trainees and congratulated them for their successful completion of the rigorous training. These officers will proceed to various Naval ships and establishments to further consolidate their training in specialised fields.

What is the procedure to join the Indian Navy?
There are two modes of induction in the Indian Navy viz. UPSC Entry and Non UPSC Entry, as follows:- UPSC Entries. The UPSC holds an examination for the entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA)/Naval Academy (10+2) and Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE), twice a year.
Its not all work and no play in the Navy. The Navy has a dedicated organisation to give opportunities to its personnel for participation in all kinds of adventure activities (Para Sailing, Mountaineering, Scuba Diving, Hang Gliding, Skiing, water sports etc) and all kinds of sports activities.
Does the Indian Navy recruit on the basis of gender?
No distinction is made on the basis of gender/religion/caste/creed/region either during recruitment or at any point in time thereafter. The Commission in the Indian Navy is open to young men and women of our country. They have the option to join the Executive, Technical and Education Branches of the Indian Navy.
The Non UPSC entries are both for Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC). In this case the applications are invited and short listed at Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Navy) [IHQ of MoD (Navy)] on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying educational exams ie 10+2, Graduate or Post graduate.
