How does IIM waitlist work?
Once the first list of selected candidates are announced, another batch of selected students are kept in waiting in case any student chooses to forgo their seat. The seat is then offered to the next best candidate. This list of students waiting for someone to give up their seat can be termed as waitlist.
How many students are waitlisted in IIM?
The institute sees significant waitlist movement during admissions. For the 2020-22 batch, the waitlist movement was about 560 for the general category and 274 for NC-OBC. The numbers were 170 and 30 for SC and ST categories respectively.
Does IPM have reservation?
Candidates with the categories mentioned below will come under the PwD reservation category….Category-Wise Reservation Percentage.

Are IIM shortlists out?
IIM Shillong, IIM Rohtak, IIM Amritsar, IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam will release the shortlists in February/March 2022. The shortlist will be released in February 2022 from among the candidates who have applied for admission.
Are Ipmat 2021 results out?
IPMAT 2021 exam date is July 16, 2021. Last year, the result was announced within a week after the exam. The exam was held on September 07 and the result was declared on September 13….IPMAT 2021 Result Release Date.
