Does IIM consider academics?

Every IIM has their own criteria. Some are heavily academics oriented and some are less academically oriented. In older IIMs, IIMA can be good for those who have diversities, in term of academics. Last year, they had increased the weightage of cat score in final composite score as compared to the previous year.

What are the requirements to get seat in IIM?

Bachelor’s degree (minimum 50\%) in any discipline as per the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 norms. A valid CAT/GMAT/IIM B Test or GRE score. Candidates applying through CAT should mention the name of the program in the CAT application form. Same goes for candidates applying through any other entrance examination.

Can I get into IIM Ahmedabad with average academics?
