How many times per day should I use my Water Flosser? You should use your Waterpik® Water Flosser at least once per day. Why? To maintain good oral health, the American Dental Association recommends that you floss at least once per day and brush your teeth at least twice per day.
Can you use a Waterpik to remove tonsil stones?
Using a low-pressure water irrigator, such as a water flosser, can help loosen tonsil stones. To do this, stand in front of a well-lit mirror and aim the water flosser toward the tonsil stones. Be careful when freeing a tonsil stone, as it can fall toward the back of the throat and cause coughing.
Can water flosser damage gums?
Can Waterpik damage your teeth or gums? No. Water flossers may actually damage your gums less than floss. They do not put as much pressure on the gums as string floss.
