A survey conducted by the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AACU) found that only 55 percent of students attending high school feel prepared to enter the real world. So, again, this is how high-school prepares students to enter adulthood.

I believe that every single subject taught in high school is a mistake. This will surely infuriate teachers, but teachers are not my enemy. It isn’t their fault. They are cogs in a system over which they have no control. I believe there are many great teachers, and I believe that teaching and teachers are very important.

Long words short, we should show the students why it is useful to know those facts in a way it relates to present and our world situation. Many children say that school is useless and they hate going to school. Because they don’t know the “why”. They only know they have to go to school, because parents say so.

The average person will never use 90\% of the things they’re taught in high school classes. The educational system really needs to rethink the kind of classes it makes mandatory. Far too many classes are completely inapplicable to life in the real world.
