In general, IQ has 2 components : Verbal and Non Verbal. For the Verbal part, I would think the majority of IITians would be 100 – 120, and maybe 30\% over 130 or 140. I found that a lot of 3 year (non engineering/non IITian) graduate students with much better language skills.
