How are airmen trainees trained?
Airmen are given Basic Training for 6 months at Airmen Training School, Belagavi, Karnataka. This is a common training through which All Airmen Trainees have to undergo without any difference of Group, Trade etc. After successfully completion of Basic Training are alloted their trades (Except those whor are Pre-alloted with trades).
What is the academic training in the Indian Air Force?
Academic training includes learning Hindi/English language, General knowledge (related to armed forces and Air Force in particular), basic knowledge of computers. These skills are taught during first six months of basic training.
