Should I take honors math in high school?
There are regular, honors and AP classes in high school math. Honors classes are more challenging than regular classes. Students who take honors classes can get a higher grade point average (GPA) in high school. If a student gets a high enough score then they can get college credit for it.
Can you graduate high school without knowing math?
Yes. You’ll have a difficult time at some point in college even if you don’t major in the sciences , engineering or economics, and still have to take a math course as an elective.

Is honors math harder?
Honors classes are not harder…. they just require more work. You learn the same material as in the regular classes (you might learn more details and go more in depth, but overall it is the same material and the only difference is workload). So if you can get into honors math classes then by all means go for it.
