Use Techmax only strictly. For knowledge use reference book but i am sure you will not score much :p. Take previous year question paper (till last semester) and tick each and every question in your techmax (if not given). Then tick the questions asked in mid semester exams (other than gtu). Then comes the time of GTU exams.
