If Netero takes any hits though, he’ll receive critical damage, but I don’t see it happening with how many exchanges it took for Meruem to even touch him despite his raw power and strategies.

Also, Gon doesn’t have any rage or hatred towards Netero, so the adult form would be weaker than it was against Pitou; Gon would have a lack of motivation to fight as hard as he did against Pitou. Even if Gon manages to kill Netero which is highly unlikely, he will die since the rose bomb in Netero’s heart will detonate.
Who is faster gon or Meruem?
Unless Gon is solidly faster than Meruem by a few tiers, he’s never touching Netero. Meruem only accomplished such a feat due to his advanced intelligence. Either a draw (because of the Rose Bomb) or Gon wins.
