Is Fuzhounese same as Hokkien?
No such thing as a “Hokkien” dialect in Hokkien (Fujian) province. If you are in the capital of Fujian, Fuzhou, they speak the Fuzhou dialect (variously referred to also as ‘Hockchew’ or the Min-dong dialect).
