Can I do AMIE after B Tech? Yes, you can. But, not in the same branch.
Can I complete Amie one year?
In AMIE, there is two sections , namely section A & B . And 4 subjects are to be cleared in section A and 9 subjects is to be cleared in section B and project work and laboratory experiments. And you can opt only 4 subject in a semester/term. Now you can complete AMIE in minimum 2 year duration.
Is degree from Amie valid?

AMIE is basically done by diploma holders who are engaged in job and can not go for regular B.Tech. Selecting an AMIE or regular B.Tech is wholly a matter of management of a private or public sector company.
Can I do M Tech after passing Amie?
You can do M Tech after passing AMIE. For this, you have to qualify GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). You can appear soon in GATE after passing Section A of AMIE exams. However, you should apply for GATE only after passing section B.
