Which book is best for Physical Chemistry OP Tandon or P Bahadur?
Bahadur is slightly better. Both are good books , but I would suggest you a book by the author O.P. Aggarwall . Its a very good book for Physical Chemistry from the JEE point of view. There are lots of examples in this book which helps you a lot in understanding the concept .

OP Tandon, without a doubt, first of all it has an unending plethora of theory, which P Bahadur’s book lacks, however in terms of examples and questions both are basically the same. RC Mukherjee has the best numerical chemistry part, but has 1 page theory only. KS Verma, has everything like the OP Tandon book.

Is P Atkins or Bruce Mahan more important for the JEE?
Although Bruce Mahan is more wider than any other as it clear your concepts more firmly, but I would suggest all to continue with this after all your jee based preparation as this is vast… Indeed NCERT is most important for jee. Don’t go for P. Atkins as it’s language is very complex as Bruce Mahan is very LUCID.
