Like it or not, rock music has almost died in the 2010s. Metal, punk, and hard rock have been pushed back into the underground by the music industry, losing popularity faster than ever before. Everyone was ready to forget about rock, but it looks like rock is getting popular once more.

To anyone with ears, it’s clear that rock completed its natural development decades ago and has been fading away ever since. Rock died because it had played out its natural span — not three minutes, but the three-step dance of all Western art forms: classical, romantic, modern.
Why do people like rap music so much?
No other artists in any other genres are even coming close to producing the same amount of lyrics as rap artists. There’s just more content in rap, period. There are more patterns, stories, analogies, metaphors. For me, listening to rap music is more fulfilling than any other genre.

Why did Mr Krause say he didn’t like rap music?
It was during 9th grade history with Mr. Krause when he declared to the entire classroom that he didn’t like rap music becuse it was all about drugs and violence and sex. He said this all in a way that made it seem as though his opinion was the truth, important enough to share with 14 year old students.
