I guess most play the hardest level, but all my co-op bot xp is from before custom AI’s were available. Try standard bots first but also look for „Ranked AI matchmaking“ bots. They are more versatile. The queue times differ. Yes, I also think I had faster queueing times half a year ago.

Imo, medium bots have the best queue times. Not to easy but easy enough to smash the bots without the need of high skills. But that’s also a disadvantage because you often find players there compensating only for bad gaming experience in their PvP matches.

AI bots are just good for me (maybe not all of them). Different difficulties available. To be honest, I don’t need human opponents at all. The best thing however is, that bot opponents guarantee friendly team mates to you. No flaming, no reports.
