Do you have to live on campus freshman year at Chico State?
No, we unfortunately do not have enough space for every student who wants to live with us. However, first time freshmen have priority over space and are encouraged to live within our University Housing communities because of the educational environment and for their first year experience.

How many rooms will university housing provide for Fall 2021?
Fall 2021 – We are excited to announce that that University Housing will provide primarily double rooms (two students per room) with a limited number of single rooms (one student per room), triple rooms (three students per room) and quad rooms (four students per room).
