It is impossible for human beings to become God. This false promise was given to Eve back in the Garden of Eden. The reason humans cannot become God has to do with the nature of God. God, is God by nature. He did not become God at some certain point in time. Human beings are finite.
Can humanity exist without God?
Humanity cannot exist by themself. Humans are not self-sustaining. We need food, air, water, to stay alive. Without these and other things humanity would perish. The Bible says that God will grant everlasting life to those who believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. But this will not mean humans will become God.
Are You sharing ‘the voice of God’ with others today?
Today we have so many different avenues to share ‘The Voice of God’ with those around us. However, there is a cautionary note here. Scripture also warns us that false prophets will not be tolerated. With that in mind, we must be cautious when we communicate the message of Jesus to those around us.
Is there a need for modern day prophets?
While the need for modern day prophets is still very present, there is a difference between being a prophet and embracing the gift of prophecy. The spiritual gift of prophecy is something that is given by the Holy Spirit in times when the Spirit sees a need for it.
