IHMs are govt institutes and IIHM is a private institute. Not all the IHMs are as good as IIHM but the top 10–15 IHMs are still better than IIHM. IHM will cost you a lot lesser than IIHM. Plus, IIHM being a private institute, treats students with a little too much of discipline, which I personally do not support.
