Is computer science included in IES?
Only civil, mech, electrical and electronics are eligible as of now. Yes you can apply for IES exam, but the Exam is not for the computer graduates. No, they can appear for GATE – CS to get good admission in M Tech or PSU’s . More importantly,IES exam are for branches like civil, mechanical , electronics only.
Which branches are allowed in IES?

Can a computer science engineering student write the NEET exam?
yes but they can write the exam only in electrical, mechanical, electronics or civil subjects. computer science is not the cadre allowed in the exam. But any engineering grad can take the exam in above four branches.
Which engineering stream should I choose to join as a technical subject?
You can apply for it as Candidate should be engineering graduate only. But only civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering streams are available as technical subject. So If U have your concepts clear in any of these branches, go for it.
