The main focus of Gurukuls was on imparting learning to the students in a natural surrounding where the shisyas lived with each other with brotherhood, humanity, love, and discipline. The essential teachings were in subjects like language, science, mathematics through group discussions, self-learning etc.

They are all first time school goers. We have decided to take the children up to 5th standard and then persuade them to go to the nearby Government schools. In all the other schools, children attend Bal Gurukul along with their regular school. They are selected randomly and empowered. The weak students are educated properly.

The gurukula educational system and lifestyle is not supported by modern society. Education should make the student a worthy member of the society in which he is going to live. It should not happen that after the gurukula education is complete, the student has to learn himself how to get by in society.
