Does connecting too many USB devices cause problems?
You can use USB hubs for “extending” a USB port from a host device, but unless there is enough power for all devices plugged in (USB bus-powered Hard drives will use the entire load, as they are only designed to be plugged directly into the PC), by having two of them, you almost certainly overloaded the Hub.
