Why going to church is important?
Church reconnects us to our shared beliefs. It reinforces the higher philosophy and purpose behind marriage and family and it allows us a safe space to connect with God and our spouse together. Couples who attend church together are making time to reiterate the important foundations of their marriage.

A church (or local church) is a religious organization or congregation that meets in a particular location. Many are formally organized, with constitutions and by-laws, maintain offices, are served by clergy or lay leaders, and, in nations where this is permissible, often seek non-profit corporate status.
Whats the purpose of the church?
Even away from a real sanctuary, the church, made up of God’s people, is to teach biblical doctrine so we all can be grounded in our faith. The church is to promote fellowship, trust, faith and hope, especially in this pandemic season.
Does the Bible say we need to go to church?
No. There is no command to attend church in the bible only an injuction to not forsake gathering together. But those of us who value being in the presence of those we love are not in need of a command to enjoin us to go to spend time with them.
Why do we go to church?
Here’s the answer: We go to church to worship God with other believers and be taught God’s Word for our spiritual growth. It’s true that God is omnipresent, which means He is everywhere. We can worship Him and pray to Him no matter where we are! But going to church is God’s will for believers.
Can We worship God anywhere?
I once had a friend tell me, “I can worship God anywhere. I can do church in a forest. I can do it alone.” In one sense, he was right. We can worship God on the highest mountain or the lowest pit. He is not confined to a church building, but God intended for us to have a community as Christians so we could help each other.
Is the church a place or a people?
Remember, church is not a place, it’s people—and not just any “people.” We are a people called out of darkness, intended to shine Christ’s light. We are a people who should love God and our fellow Christians so much that going to worship Him is a joy and not a burden. We are part of something special—don’t take it for granted.
Is going to church every week required for believers?
Going to church every week is not “required” for believers, but someone who belongs to Christ should have a desire to worship God, learn His Word, and fellowship with other believers. Bible Truth “I was very glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go up to the house of the LORD'” (Psalm 122:1).
