What do you learn in a natural science class?

The natural sciences seek to understand how the world and universe around us works. There are five major branches (top left to bottom right): Chemistry, astronomy, Earth science, physics, and biology.

Natural Science education contributes to the community upliftment by developing scientifically literate persons who can cope with basic socio-scientific problems. It also allows the development of a spirit of inquiry which is necessary for lifelong learning.

How has an experience with nature or science impacted your life?

Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones.
