What is Heartfulness meditation and how do I practice it?
Heartfulness Meditation is a simple heart based meditation where the seeker meditates with a thought that “there is divine light in my heart”. The heart is also the seat of the soul. It can be practiced by anyone above 15 years of age and is available in over 160 countries for free.
What is heartfullness or Sahaj Marg?
Heartfullness also known as Sahaj-Marg, is a system of heart-centered meditation practise offered by Shri Ramchandra Mission. Shri Ramchadraji of Shajahanpur who is fondly known as Babuji, founded and established this mission as a token of love for his Master whose name incidentally is also Ramchandra , of Fategarh, U.P.
Why do we need to relax before meditation?
You walk them through so that they are properly relaxed before starting the meditation. Because the prerequisite to meditation is that you must calm your system. You must relax before you focus. So, relaxation helps to focus. It is not the goal of meditation, but to plunge into meditation you need some sort of calmness and a relaxed state of mind.
