Do universities like AP or IB?
Colleges typically do not state a preference for AP or IB courses. Both options are rigorous and can help you earn college credit depending on your exam scores. If your school only offers AP or IB, you may want to simply stick with what is available.
Is AICE or IB harder?
The main difference between AICE and IB is the flexibility of the AICE Diploma. Our students tell us that IB Higher Level courses are harder than their AP counterparts, while IB Standard Level classes are not quite as hard…and that AICE courses don’t seem quite as hard as AP or IB courses.
