On this occasion, they reflect on the past and make commitments for the future.
How do you become a member of Global Shapers?
Criteria to become a member medlem
- Young, extraordinary person with great potential for future leadership roles in society.
- Between 20 and 29 years at the time of nomination.
- Has unique features that set them apart from their peers.
- Focuses on positive social impact / social impact.
How many global shapers are there?
With more than 10,000 members and alumni, the Global Shapers Community spans 402 city-based hubs in 153 countries and territories. In each city, teams of Shapers self-organize to create initiatives that address the needs of their community.
How long can you be a global shaper for?
Shapers must be between 20 and 29 years old when they are selected to join a Hub. One can remain a Shaper for a total of 5 years, or until they reach 33 years of age.

When can I apply to join the Global Shapers Community?
We are very excited to announce that applications to join the London Hub of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community will open on Monday 8th of February, 2021. What is the Shaper movement all about?
Shapers are taking action on critical issues – big and small. As a student, Global Shaper Siddarth Hande organized clean-up drives on the beaches near his home in Chennai, India. He and his friends quickly realized that just moving waste from one place to another was not tackling the root problem.
