Can IPS officer get tattoos?

Tattoo is not a problem for IAS or IPS. There is no provision given for the tattoos in the official notification released by the UPSC CSE, apart from like that of army notification which clearly says ” There should be no tattoo or any kind of religious mark on your body”.
