Will TCS provide accommodation during training? Accommodation is not provided to candidates whose ILP location is same as their base branch. In case, TCS provides accommodation during the training period, the rent towards the same will be deducted from your House Rent Allowance (HRA).

No, TCS doesn’t provide any laptops during ILP to new recruits. Because you are already having classroom or labs there to practice your assignment. you are not allocated to any project , so whatever assignment or work is assigned to you , it can be completed in lab itself.
What is the ILP experience at Ahmedabad like?
The ILP experience at Ahmedabad is awesome.Actually the tcs ilp center is not at Ahmedabad,it’s at Gandhinagar. Gandhinagar is really nice and green city.If you do cycling in the morning , you are able to feel that.
Will I get a laptop in the ILP?
It’s correct that you won’t get laptop in ILP (Initial Learning Program) as you won’t be allowed to work from home, even you won’t be allowed to stay home during your work days 🙂 Post ILP you might get a laptop & VPN token depending on your project & it’s requirements.
Can I bring my own laptop to TCS office?
You are not even suppose to bring your own laptop inside TCS office. Post ILP, if you are into some projects, then you can bring client issued laptops, as pointed by Altamash Moin.
